Spring Petroleum are one of the Yorkshire's largest privately-owned forecourt operators with an ever expanding portfolio of sites that offer a wide range of different retail opportunities.

Looking forward the owners of Spring Petroleum saw the need to develop their current branding and also to add an online presence. One17 GC are happy to have been commissioned to help drive the Spring Petroleum brand forward.

The first stage of the development will be to create a fully content managed website with newsletter sign-up facilities. The site is currently in the planning stage and will start to take shape over the next few weeks.

Building for the Future

Having been in the building industry for a number of years Graham Construction were in need of a new direction in terms of their company branding. Having initially started work with another Huddersfield based agency Richard Graham was unhappy with the progress and came to see One17 GC.

Following a number of positive meetings Richard decided to entrust the rebranding of a business, that has been in his family for generations, to One17 GC.

The re-brand has already begun with Richard and his team closely involved with each step of the design process.

Recipe For Success

One17 GC have been working closely with Victor Manufacturing to produce a range of brochures featuring the entire Victor range. There are a total of 8 different brochures ranging between 16 and 24 pages.

To complement the new literature Victor also commissioned One17 GC to create a fully content managed website. The since the site went live Victor have been in full control of adding and editing the all of the content. Due to this content management system (CMS) Victor can now keep their site fully up to date with their ever expanding product range.

Alan, one of our design team, recently celebrated his marriage to Ruth. The fact that their daughter, Neve, attended the event confirms it was not a whirlwind romance, so they both know what they’re doing!

Proximity to Bonfire Night prompted a spectacular firework display as part of the celebrations, and – the part that the local newspaper picked up on – a wedding cake made of parkin!

I don’t usually approve of so many exclamation marks but this merits an exception. Very best wishes to the newlyweds!

Road to Success with Sanderson Associates

For the last 2 years One17 GC has been working closely with Sanderson Associates one of the countries leading consulting engineers. During this time we have helped Sanderson Associates to progress their brand through the design and production of new company literature, website, stationery and advertising.

Recently we have designed and printed a new company brochure and insert sheets that demonstrates the qualities that Sanderson Associates can offer their clients. The relationship we now have with Sanderson's is a good demonstration of how we like to work with a client and not only for them.

F1 in Schools World Championships

Formula 1 has not been without controversy this year but I imagine anyone vaguely interested in the sport will welcome a British World Champion. One17 GC has been closely linked with F1 for the last 5 years as we have undertaken all the branding, display and print materials for the F1 in Schools Challenge.

This brainchild of Andrew Denford, who runs an engineering company in Brighouse, is a simple idea brilliantly promoted. It aims to engage schoolchildren between the ages of 9 and 19 in engineering, science and technology through association with the glamorous world of Formula 1 motor racing. The programme is now international and very high-powered, as you can see from photographs taken at this year’s grand finals held in London. Find out more at www.f1inschools.co.uk.
